Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse

The room was very nice. The pool was amazing. The breakfast was one of the best selections we had in Thailand.

The neighborhood was not conducive for walking around the deluxe room but there was no place to unpack our belongings

Is only one thing we miss some of our item from our bags we did a lot of shopping so we arrive. We see a lot of items are not there. And we are sure we put it inside the bag. But the bugs was open when the people was cleaning the rooms so some items was missing.

Excellent location. We spent alot of time researching where to stay and what the best area was. This location is centrally located to all neighborhoods. Walking distance to many. Staff was excellent. Great room service options as well. Beautiful pool and rooftop restaurant.

Very clean and excellent location. Breakfast buffet has great selection, quality and service. Hotel rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and overall nice. Staff is friendly and helpful when needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, the hotel itself was stunning. I especially loved the infinity pool, breakfast and the spa – the massage was one of the best I’ve had. Would definitely come back!

Swimming pool coldAnd no Jacuzzi Some waiters were not polite in dealing with us in the restaurant, even though we had booked breakfast and dinner daily, and this was at an expensive price.( one to two persons only)Another waiters was amazing

Good location and great Japanese restaurant.

Elevator maintenance work ongoing throughout the night (3 nights) and right next to our M Suite. No pre warning/apology note from the GM to guests about the noise. GM was not present. Available to speak to the entire 5 days of our stay. Club lounge staff - manager was lovely but staff were rude and lazy. Tables left uncleared. Food mostly catered for Asian guests. Not a very premium experience.Disappointing.

Breakfast selection was great! And we were given a free upgrade for my birthday which was lovely. Staff were also quite lovely. The pool was a nice way to relax in the Bangkok heat and the room was nice and comfy.

When we checked out we were told we could still spend our time in the pool before we left for the airport - but once we got up to the pool we were questioned three times by separate members of staff about which room we were staying in, almost in an accusatory tone. This wasn’t that nice and made me feel like I wasn’t meant to be there when we’d been told that was an option upon checkout. Consider coordinating better with the poolside staff on this before interrogating customers who just want to relax before their long flight please :) the changing rooms by the pool has also seen better days, but was very clean at least!

Nothing i didn't like about the room or service of staff. Concierge was brilliant in organising a car and driver for an impromptu day trip. Only downside was I asked for a specific vegetarian dish for breakfast but was told they'd run out. Minor disappointment, but would expect a hotel of this standard to be well stocked.

staff were amazing the pool area was very peaceful I had a lovely relaxed breakfast every day didn't really to eat until the evenings were I tried all the in-house restaurants which were fantastic

The exceptional staff services they ensured our stay is amazing. A great shout out to Amarin the chief of concierge gave us good service going above and beyond making our stay even more fantastic. They accommodated us will early check in, the amenities in the hotel they are great. It was a beautiful stay overall we will consider staying with then again when we visit Bangkok again.

During breakfast at their 3rd floor restaurant there was a slight confusion with the staff thinking that our room booking did not Include breakfast there was back and forth with the staff until manager confirmed everything that our room stay includes breakfast. They did apologize however that was frustrating. Either than that slight issue all was well.

I hate when people say staff as typically we don’t like to chat too much when we’re away. But truly? It’s the staff. They just can’t do enough but not in a way that’s too much. The location is great. The views are wonderful. Our son loved the kids club that you could easily access and play in. This represented the best value for money and luxury balance of our month long Asia trip.

The breakfast and swimming pool 10/10, the staff super friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

Our suit was very good decorated and comfortable. All staff members are very polite and helpful. They organized our taxi for next day to airport even before we asked them.

Large room was good and facilities.

I paid more than what I booked it for !!! They claimed there was taxes more than what’s on booking. Tried to send booking the bills but they wanted my card statement which takes time since it’s credit. So I ended up to pay more !!

Rooms in need of renovation, extremely high prices at the bar. When booking the hotel, we requested a room with a nice view because we were celebrating a birthday and our engagement anniversary, but they gave us a room with two separate beds and a view of a slum. ? Absurd!I’ve been to Bangkok 10 times and stayed in 5-star hotels, and this was by far the worst. Definitely not worth €200 per night. ?
